Found my passion late in life, but I found it. - Moh's Sketchbook

    Hey everybody!

I'm 20yrs old residing in Ontario, Canada. It's been a hard last couple of years both academically and personally. Switched between Business and Software Engineering programs at different universities and wasted a lot of money..
Finally just went for it and going into Game Design this year and I've found what I have always wanted to do. Never had the chance to take art in high school (all math/science) so up to this point I've had to learn on my own

However, being so far behind I always lack motivation and personal life at home is always getting in the way but I am trying and scared that It will be hard as ever to make it into this industry, anyway let's start this off! Please need all criticism to make myself better at this..! Thanks for viewing!

Just a comment to say, how is 20 years old late in life by any sense of the phrase? You're a pup!

Work hard at this stuff. You have plenty of time. And you're not "behind" either.

    Thinking connects desire with creation.
    How good are you?

Dude…. seriously wtf!!! If 20 years is old then I should be a corpse by your standards!
Seriously though, apply yourself and you can do great things.

Use it or loose it. And now I find myself trying remember where I lost my drawing skills...

Haha well I just see a lot of good young artists around me so I feel like that!
But yes, I am slowly learning!

Wow, that mountain is stunning! I love the colors! Good work there, man.

And well, when I clicked I thought you'd be 60 or something.

Ahaha! You're still young dude! By any standard...
Your enviro studies!! Great stuff! The colours are brilliant. Can't wait to see more of your work!

    Cheers!

(Totally know what you mean about going the long way round to finding your passion by the way. Had to go through Business and Law and a few painful years to figure that one out.. Haha!)

Looks nice man. Focus on where your want your light to come from, and if you have other illuminating lights in the picture, keep those in mind as well. I love the character design of the knight with floating torso. The other knight is nice too. Try some figure studies to lock the proportion down a bit more.

I love the improvement! Keep up the excellent work.
