I'm a chibi anime artist, pretty much because I'm terrible at real anatomy, so I thought I'd drop my terrible realism practice sketches here and see if I can get any helpful advice. Most of my work is rather erotic in nature; I'd like to eventually make good hentai art XD
Thanks for dropping by. I apologize in advance if your eyes burn out while you're here~

So I tried drawing a figure using this guide: http://www.dollmakersdream.com/female-anatomy.html
I ended up with this:
Welcome to making actual art. Here's your 10,000 hour instruction DVD.
Also, I would say that if you're going to draw the figure from guides like that, you need to spend more time on them. Really measure out the lengths and such, don't make 5 minute doodles.
It's hard work but it really pays off! Also pro tip: never ever draw anime again, it's poison for a beginning artist.
r u a troll i assume?
J: Don't call my escorts hookers.
B: Mom's still got it!
J: I don't date whores!
L: This objectification of women has to stop!
M: It's just mom and whores...

Hi Yuu, welcome to CA. I know you mentioned making erotic art in your post, but to do that you need to have a good understanding of the body. Andrew Loomis has some good books on the subject, two that I recommend are 'Fun with a Pencil' and 'Figure Drawing for All it's Worth'. I also recommend you study the human form in realism before you deviate to different styles, it makes it easier to find out if something is off in your figures.

http://artists.pixelovely.com/ Is a great place for figure and gesture references
All in all, take some more time to construct the body. It indeed pays off!
Damn, there's some serious improvement going on in this thread. Your stuff reminds me of me when I was starting out. Keep up the good work!
