    Bye.

( It's an old work , archive one and I hope to finish it one day )
Here I thought: drawing a fat girl, quite old ... this is the result.
Work hard and don't give up. ( Need perhaps advice, idea for the background and composition )
    More info about it here

Well, here I'm trying to not work on the lines but on shapes and the general form ( it's a kind a default I have and that's why I dissociate background and character )
    Thanks Kingkostas.

Salut! First of all id like to say your work is beautiful and its clear you have a strong grasp of portraiture. I noticed you say 'My main problem it's I don't really find inspiration or composition to create or finish a sketch, drawing'. I think you have to ask yourself, what kind of artist do you want to be? A traditional oil portraiturist? a landscape artist? concept artist? Who are your favourite artists? When you do draw, what inspires you? People you see, films or computer games? You must find out where your passion lies, because when you find it, you will know exactly what you want to practice and will have the drive to finish paintings. But dont worry too much, you are still young and have time to think, just don't wait till you're thirty, like i did!

Kimonas Thanks for all. I think I still need to practice portraiture but thanks again.
And yeah, I already ( a little bit ) think about what kind of artist I want to be ... First of all, for the moment I don't want to think about traditional oil portraiturist ... I'm mad with colours and oil >.> they don't like me and I think I need to learn more about colors and at the other side I do love the digital work, perhaps due to all influence on deviantart, of masters of digital illustration ( for card for example ). About landscape ... still need to improve and I really do prefer working on characters than landscape ... exept if it's a scene ... I just start to interest me in landscape for that, for the deep aspect of a scene ( hope you understand what I'm writing ). Concept artist I just start to understand what's a concept artist... even if I'm not sure ... and I have too much favourite artists in minds so = to much directions to take ... and when I'm drawing ... it's the quality who inspire me, the details, textures on skin, sexy character etc ... so ... perhaps it's not a good start ... well thanks anyway and as you see I'm not focused on one thing but in several and different things ...

Here , it's a wale study from picture for the Weekly Study Classroom in Lascopainter I made in " speed painting ".
≈ 1h50 doing few things at once.

Mrkolsyrad : Thanks, I try hard to work on the realism aspect but I think I could work harder ... I'm quite happy with that because I realized it in "speed painting".

Here I share you an old sketchbook I just retrieved from summer 2012 ( July and August )

Hi Laureline, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook.
You have a lovely sketchbook here which shows you have some great skills. My favourite post is #40 and the 'coca is life' picture! I would say to keep yourself interested, try experimenting using lots of different materials, for example pastel, markers, oils, conte pencils....
Also keep going with the studies, not just speed painting, but anatomy form studies, value studies, composition studies, master studies...and so on.
I've subscribed to your sketchbook so i will keep checking back to see your progress! Keep up the great work.

Quick study of Rene Aigner's work. Here it was more a question of lights and value for me more than the final rendering result.
Hope you guys have great days in this period.
    Enjoy your weekend!

fefe73: merci bien!

Here is plant creature from Daily Spitpaint which I really appreciated because I'm not used to work with that. Really hard the creative concept we need to have during those chalanges !
    Have a good week guys!

Ah, so you are the one behind that Black Skull spitpaint!
I absolutely love it, Lighting and shading on the skull is truly beautiful, plus penrose triangle is always a win.

Hope to see more spitpaints like this one in the future

    Hi Laureline,

Great to see you are still improving from post to post especially post #54! Be careful to make sure you don't make the eyes too big on your faces.

Looking forward to your next update!
