Your values are all over the places in some places. Some of the darks tend towards dark darks and you shouldn't use very black blacks when trying to portray shadows.

Don't rely too much on textured brushes and try and remedy yourself to the standard brushes. Most of the magic happens when you master the simplest tools and materials , such as in traditional drawing.

You can do amazing things with a stump of charcoal or a 2B pencil.

Maybe it's my imagination but I see hints of Dodge and Burn tool but I could be wrong. If you did use them , stop it. It's a bad habbit to overuse photoshop's tools when you're trying to create paintings , finished paitings in this case with their attributes.

It will look unnatural and over-digitalized ( if that's even a word ) , but you get my drift.

The composition isn't that bad but you need work on values and colors.

Will follow up with more feedback once more drawings fall about . Good luck and keep it going !

I don't believe for a second that you're as new to this as you say you are lol.
Nonetheless, great work. I really like the '' heat '' effects.

You started painting 4 weeks ago?! Dude, your work looks like you started more like 40 weeks ago, are you serious? How do you do it?!
There's really nothing for me to crit, your colors and compositions are awesome, and that first painting in the above post is just epic.
Only the last painting is badly composed, but then again, composition is a pretty subjective thing, so this comp might work if it makes sense with the importance of the elements in the piece, it's just that, above that guy's head there's just empty background, so if something was there it would make sense. Does any of what I said makes sense lol

Anyways, your doing real good, keep working and you'll get there, for sure!

Thank you so much Fricetix! Its been 2 months now since I started this. The last two are just some sketchy ones, tried to push myself to the limit in making pictures in just 15-30 mins. Just for fun to see what happened!

    Thank you again!

Heres a new sketch, very quick about 15 mins, trying to work as fast as possible without thinking, I tend to spend too much time analyzing and thinking.

Instead of trying to visualize the image in my head like I have done before I just draw many pictures in a short time and chose the sketches that are best and work on those. Since then my speed has improved alot.

Have to start studying foreshortening much more.

Another really quick one with foreshortening about 20-30 min... I had no idea what I was doing, these pictures are getting really weird.

Just a small critique. The monster in the background looks very flat, almost like a cardboard cut out. A bit more thickness and shapes in the face and at the start of the neck going down to the back could maybe make him look more 3d.

New update, I was thinking which one of these is the best one, been staring myself blind on this picture so I cant really tell.

Also if anyone has any advice on how to highlight the trees in the background it would be great. Its too time consuming to paint every little leaf.
