    More and Less Blankets

Uploading all my stuff to this sketchbook until college when I think I'll make a new one. Would love any feedback and critique!

I really need more practice with environments, so I whipped one out before bed and I'll do another tomorrow. Maybe I'll make a little study series? who knows

I like it! Your colors for nature have something gritty (#3!) poses at number 2 look a bit stiff !

Hey thanks for the feedback! I agree the figures definitely need some work, along with my landscapes. So that's why I'm doing a landscape study series, #3 was the first environment I'd done in probably a solid 6 months, so I didn't have high expectations for it.

    Old but finished work

These were supposed to be pieces for a machinima project I was hired for back in May, but the project fell through. So now I will upload them! These are finished pieces but since they are OLD finished pieces I thought I would just throw them in my sketchbook. Have a good day guys and girls

Those are some cool looking faces- I like the variety of expressions. I especially like the expression of the guy at the far right who looks at the viewer.
However, I think some of the colors of the faces look a bit flat- like the largest face (blonde girl) for example. The addition of other colors like reds, blue..- well obviously it depends on what you'll trying to convey but if you look up master portrait paintings you'll see (or use eyedropper tool) that they often used a lot of colors, sometimes just little dabs that overall create a very 'alive' looking painting. You could try doing some master portrait studies.

    From the sketchbook

Here are some pages out of my sketchbook. I've decided to take a break from digital art so I can hammer home the important things... Like pencils
