Cadre Sketchbook... and more from the Cornerstone Creative Studios

I'd like to introduce myself to those that don't know me... my name is Jesse "Cadre" Hansen.
I've been published in over 30 comic books, magazines and periodicals, including Cracked Magazine.

Primarily an inker, I've done everything in the industry except write.

Here's some samples of my work as an inker... in which I'm currently looking for more work to add to my credentials... ready for work with ink in hand.

Wow dude, badass stuff. I really love the Batman image, and the guy with the sword is great, the composition has been nailed! Really impressive! You must have some amount of work saved up right? Can't wait to see more. Also congratulations on your success, I think it's a dream for all of us to have our work published to such an extent, great inspiration.

Thanks, I wouldn't go so far as all that, always looking for that next big thig... we're currently developing our own universe and thus will have our own titles coming out as well... I'll be srue to post more... ya know what, in fact, here comes something we just finished... the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in respect to the new movie... no comment on the movie as haven't seen it and probably won't until redbox anyway... lol... but gotta love the turtles anyway... so we did four separate pieces for prints, all are done now... here ya go, hope ya like.

Hey man, when you're doing your pencils, like in the first image, what paper and pencils do you use?

As noted in the post, that particular piece was pencilled by Joseph Arnold, another studio mate of mine... that being said, we typically will use a non-photo blue lead with mechanical pencil on bristol board... that's pretty typical for most comic artists these days... OR just using a good ol regular pencil if you prefer, because when it's scanned, it can be converted to blue prior to printing out for the inks.

almost to a certain goal.. still time to get your commission requests in at the HALF PRICE special rates folks... for those interested, here's my portfolio link outside of fb... (mainly because had so many requests...)
I've been surprised at how many individuals are surprised at our normal rates from the studio member, stating that they thought they'd never be able to afford us. I'm flattered of course but also hoping to enlighten people that the CCS is about helping others achieve their dreams at the same time.
