    Jeff Cram's Art

    Howdy Folks,

I've lurked around here for years, off and on, and I think it's time to post some recent stuff and get some feedback. These are a few character shots through which I'm trying to expand my style. Let me know what you think!

The line work is great. One thing when I look at these is that I'd like to see some shadows to make them pop out more. Perhaps on the inside of The Things torso to balance out the flames on the outside.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Fireblade!

You speak wisdom. I think I'll be noodling around with this off and on in the future, and I'll definitely take your words to heart.

    Thanks again!

A "for fun" sketch of my Pathfinder character. He's an Alchemist, which makes him a sort of 'Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde' character.

    reference :)

Hey I came across your thread and love your work!
Its got that bit of hellboy comic style to it
I would look into Mike Mignola for using 2 tonal shading
He did the Hellboy series and his work is so awesome.
He mastered his primary shapes, cast shadows, and anatomy.
I would use him as reference if you're going on this route
    in the industry. Goodluck!

Thanks for stopping in and commenting, Jacheollee!

I'm a huge fan of Mignola's stuff, and while I've dropped off keeping up on Hellboy, I need to go dig out my old copies!

    Thanks again!

    Last of the monster portraits.

Had fun with these, and even learned a thing or two. *gasp!*

    Thanks for taking a look!

Some paintings I did circa 2003-2005 that I recently found!

Acrylics and color pencils on illustration board.

    Crits and comments always welcome!
