    I recommend you do many many more figure studies before jumping into digital. I know that's that LAST thing you want to hear, but you need to hear it. I was told this countless times and they were right. I still need to work on my figures, they aren't perfect, but they are certainly better than what they were. You also need to practice form, and that skill will come from doing still life studies. I'm not saying to totally drop your own ideas. By all means, keep doing what you want to do, but you need to put more time into studying human anatomy.
