Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
At the time I'm writing this, I am in the last few weeks of a preparatory one year general art course. ]After that, I will continue to practice on my own.
I start this sketchbook to keep track of my output, and to give me a clear goal when practicing.
I don't make promises about updating every day or so, although that is my personal goal at the moment.
Alright, nuff said, here are some pictures I made over the last few weeks so you can get to know me a little. I need some time to get over myself and show you the bad sketches that turned out in a way I really wasn't happy with.

Attachment 1800735edit: moved pics from first post to this one.
didn't get to draw much during the day, so I had myself a little past midnight sketching - yay!
almost everything from photoref, you can actually tell when it wasn't, just look for the really bad ones
Usually, I don't use reference much, so I want to push myself to use them more often.

An inspired night, started out with some standard sketches then watched Sycras recent stream and wanted to copy some of the cool sketches Jeff did - I took it a bit further from there, but the ones I came up with don't seem as funny/good as the once I 'copied'
A few painting studies.
I still don't feel comfortable with digital painting - it too often turns out plasticky and weird, so I'm attempting to improve on that, while at the same time practicing the portrait (mostly my aim is to get the painting / sketch to a level where the portrayed person can be recognised.
Didn't measure the time for the first one, for Dexter, I clocked in at one hour.
So Sunday I once again stumbled into the CoW Forum, and found the CoW 298 project'Obsidian plated bird'.
I always wanted to participate in one of those activities, and I did start out, but didn't get a finished piece to contribute - got sidetracked by other stuff :/
Some sketchiness from the last few days.
After the ducks a while back and now the tanuki, I think I should regularly learn a new animal each week or so, see how it goes.
Long time without update!
At the moment I feel like I'm moving around in circles, without any particular focus - the result is the crap you see above.
Let's hope for better results this week!
So yeah, posting regularly didn't go as planned....
However, I kept working on it this past year and recently started some 1hour paintings. Trying to do one a day, but I'm already 4 or so behind ~~.
Edit: Oh yeah, those are all 1hour studies from reference. Very mixed results.
