At the time I'm writing this, I am in the last few weeks of a preparatory one year general art course. ]After that, I will continue to practice on my own.
I start this sketchbook to keep track of my output, and to give me a clear goal when practicing.
I don't make promises about updating every day or so, although that is my personal goal at the moment.
Alright, nuff said, here are some pictures I made over the last few weeks so you can get to know me a little. I need some time to get over myself and show you the bad sketches that turned out in a way I really wasn't happy with.
An inspired night, started out with some standard sketches then watched Sycras recent stream and wanted to copy some of the cool sketches Jeff did - I took it a bit further from there, but the ones I came up with don't seem as funny/good as the once I 'copied'
I still don't feel comfortable with digital painting - it too often turns out plasticky and weird, so I'm attempting to improve on that, while at the same time practicing the portrait (mostly my aim is to get the painting / sketch to a level where the portrayed person can be recognised.
Didn't measure the time for the first one, for Dexter, I clocked in at one hour.
