Faerie for a tattoo
So my girl wanted a faerie for a tattoo and she wanted an exquisite one. Just grabbed my wacom and started to work. This is what I've got so far.
I have to keep in mind that the work, when applied on skin, will be monochromatic and with just some gradients for volume. Also the character is supposed to be most simple, just with the water lilly and the coverings (clothes) on the body.
As it is my very first faerie, I'm looking for improvement as I might just take the work to another level (after the tattoo) and make a "complete" full color rendering with environment and all.. Tell me what you think.

I think you have a lot more work to do. She needs hands, and toes, her belly button is too high. I think you should use some reference, it looks like you've just drawn from your head, and a photo of someone sitting in this position will inform your work.

You're right about everything you've said. The thing is, due to the small size of the tattoo, I'm a bit afraid of the tiny details such as toes and fingers, so I'm leaving it to the end, after fleshing out the main lineart. Will surely review the belly button immediately, though. Thanks for the feedback, Ally.

Been trying to flesh out this fairie... need help with the upper torso and shoulders. Please. Not very good stock photos in this position and can't get anyone to pose for me like that. So, thanks in advance.
Here's qhat I've got so far.
