My first sketchbook thread. I thought it'd be best to show off a few sketches first before posting more of my art. I'm also currently enrolled in my Life Drawing II class, so expect some nudity pictures as well. I'm currently looking for ways to improve. And sorry about the watermarks, can't be too careful, especially with art thieves around the net and such. :3
Comments and critism are welcome.
The first pieces here were from my Life Drawing I class last year. For the first piece, I used white pastel to do the outline and later used black ink and water to add in the shading.
For the second one, I used charcoal to create the outline and also added water and black ink to create the shading onto the bodies.
This second set was done by pencil, the shading was also done by pencil.
The ogre piece was motivated by my aggravation of having lost most of my stuff in a hard drive crash recently, and I grew to accept the fact my files may never be recovered.
I really didn't expect the wolf to turn out the way it did, since it was my first time drawing a wolf.
More of my artwork will be posted soon. So stay turned~
Here is few of my digital works.
This piece was my first attempt doing digital art without the outlines. I was surprised by the results. It was also one of the art pieces featured in my local college fine arts gallery.
This is one of my old digital pieces that was also featured at the fine arts gallery. Back then I was getting the hang of using Photoshop.
This is my latest work, I'm very impressed by the results. I first drew the sketch on paper, then colored and airbrushed the background and the tree in.
