Moirae's sketchbook *light nudity*
I am an artist residing in the Uk. I have a background in fine art, but am trying to expand upon oils and acrylics and practice my digital skills with hopes of returning to my first loves of illustration, comic books and character and creature creation.
Currently the illustrator of the ongoing comic series Kitten Heist 1907.
Please comment or critique my work. I only seek to improve!

Your creatures give me chills! Very evil, I like this dark style.
I see some anatomical issues with the humanoid characters, mainly the hands and feet. For example, that floating/jumping one has too small feet.

Thanks, there was a time when I did my hands and feet way too big, I guess I've gone too far the other way now.

C.O.W 306 "The Thing"
Edited after feedback given on thread.
Industrial design of the week 253: Dragon research kit.
The sun priest's sceptre is reversible,as the twilight hours are just as sacred as midday, sunlight at the top, and darkness represented at the bottom.
The censer is held at the correct height to correspond with the sun's movements across the sky.
His legs are also bound, so he can only walk at a measured and consistent pace around the cathedral grounds, just like the sun across the firmament.
Traditional performance of the Dance of King Julius, who repelled a rebel incursion upon his kingdom.
The shuriken is the air, the voice of the king, of reason and diplomacy, the halberd stands proud and strong, and is always followed by the flag of blood, which flowed from his enemies during the ensuing war, and most importantly of all the underhanded blade, which assured victory for the king even when all was thought lost.
E.O.W 228 Arachnid's Lair
"The Widow's Garden"
During the reign of the Mad King, may subjects were sent to "play in his gardens" for the slightest error. Terrible things lurked within the wooded gardens, and death would be swift to those who entered. The spiders, who had grown fat on human flesh, soon dominated, turning the entire wood into one large, desolate nest, devoid of all other life.
After the fall of the Mad King, several armies have been routed trying to cleanse the horrors from the palace doorstep, so now the kingdom waits for a hero brave or foolhardy enough to try and bring life back to the land.

C.O.W: 302 Glamorous Griffin.
Neon Moonlight Griffin
The moonlight griffin pledges allegiance to the moon, not the sun as is common with other griffin species.
Its colours change with its mood, and many a foolish adventurer's last sight is the peaceful blue of the forest at night suddenly shifting to an angry glow of red.
Hi. I really like the traditional piece in your first post, great atmosphere. Keep an eye on your values, some of these shadows look too dark to me. Whereabouts in the uk are you from? I'm in sheffield.

I love how unique and interesting your subject material is. I'd love to see some studies coming out of your books. Keep pushing that envelope, woo!
