    Gotta start somewhere

So, I'm a complete ConceptArt.org noob. Studying Industrial Design at the moment, but would really like to get the hang of drawing some conceptual artwork, especially humans or figures. I started taking a life drawing class last week, but outside of that I tend to not draw as much as I would like to. Maybe this will motivate me and get me some guidelines on what to work on.
Here are my first four pages I did tonight based on the pics I got at http://artists.pixelovely.com/practi...igure-drawing/ during an hour-long class mode session. Don't feel like they're any good, so some feedback and tips are more than welcome.
I'll go try (try, try? just do!) to post a couple of pages each day.

hehe, don't try harder, DO harder!

I can get the sense of 'fury' and speed from your gestures which is great. Have to be faster than your thoughts when doing gestures so you just make an 'unadulterated' depiction of what you're looking at. The value in the last two pages is very nice. Keep working with the same ferocity.
One thing you can try is to lay down the whole of the body on paper in ~10 seconds and then move on to the details of the contour; what this sort of approach does is it forces you to 'grasp' the essence of the pose quickly. It will look like a heap of wires on paper but in your mind, you'll have traversed the body whole and be better able to depict the action in the seconds that follow.
