I didn't realize how huge this image came out, yikes. I'll probably go back and fix the resolution on this. Anyway this was an attempt to practice drawing animals. I find I migrate too much towards pin up when it comes to my work.I'm hoping I can fix that with the use of this sketchbook, and hopefully I can grow through this experience.
Fixed it! XD

Whelp, here are some hand studies. I figured I'd start drawing the one thing I hate drawing the most. But I find no matter how much I practice drawing them I can never get the hang of them. Does anyone else have this problem?
Oh, yeah. I totally forgot introductions. I'm Michelle. I'm currently working freelance, however, I'm not entirely sold by it just yet. I want to be able to move towards a more solid career. Right now I really just want to build my skill further, so when I finally do decide what direction I want to go in I'm prepared to handle the job in front of me.
I had started this piece last year, but I didn't get to finish it. As you can tell my least favorite subject is still missing from the piece so far....
I love the hard look of the painting, and i dig the purity of the hues you used. I think the breasts look flat and saggy for her age. Also the jacket fits the body too snuggly to leave any room for the arms, try widening the jacket.
If i don't reply to questions on others sketchbooks, send me a message. I'm very scatterbrained
Just some bird sketches.
I thought I try observing some boobs. The third set look a little off to me.
Some very good stuff! Your hands need a little work though--keep studying them! nice to see a new face around here.
I really wanted to color her mohawk. I had the sketch chilling on my computer for sometime and I know I should be trying to clear out all the junk, but I couldn't trash this sketch.
Love the doodles and sketches, that first one has some nice looking characters
sorry, i'm not much of an artist, so i can't give much advice
Just working on some poses. I'm planning on doing many more of these types of pages. I keep finding I depict all my characters kind of stiff and limited which just overall isn't goooood..
