Unhappy Quick Painting, The Gate (Beginner)

    Hello again.

I done a quick painting while I had some time off.
I've been trying to add a silhouette figure of a man/woman in a cloak in the foreground but each time I try the perspective of the figure seems off to me, can anyone give me some pointers?

    Thank you for looking.

when in doubt, shoot your own reference. Get a pair of friends and dress em as close to what you want as you can, get on the ground and start snapping shots. THEN start drawing from your reference and tweaking it as you want with the clothes instead of trying to fake it.

    It's progress, NOT perfection.

    1. Your perspective has a lense curve, it's almost impossibly hard to add a figure without looking weird in such a space
    2. The perspective is wrong on top of that anyways. The foreground is in a downview while the castle/church is in an upview
