Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
hi, sorry to ask this question here, but i'm desperate.
I work for a book publishers and I've been given a brief to make a video, but I just don't know where to begin. I've made plenty of straight videos, but this one is a little more ambitious, as the bosses want to include animation and are using the link below (game of thrones) as a template Game Of Thrones - Trailer - HarperCollins on Vimeo
So can anyone recommend what software would be best to produce this? and if there are any tutorials I could have a look at.
Thanks in advance you lovely people!
Moved to Art Discussion...though I was not entirely sure where to put it.
I wish I had seen this sooner as I'd like to know why you accepted the project if you actually are incapable of doing it?
I would say, some 3d software and after effect + whatever you normally use for audio.
After Effect can handle all the blurs and type and sparkly stuff, but you will most likely need to model landscapes and stuff like that. As for tutorials, I'd say use Lynda.com you want everything in the same place, this is not the time to be cheap and dig everywhere for free tuts.
