I forgot to mention my last post was fanart (somewhat gender bent) for Ava's demon!! Kind of hard to tell but alas!!!
these are basically just some cool lighting in a sherlock episode, so I froze the screen and did a quick study, and the progress from my ava drawing :>

Your color choices are very nice, but I don't have much in terms of advice...

I unfortunately can't do much stuff right now because of school, so here is some drawing practice of a draped model from last year, when I first got my tablet. As you can see, just rough sketch work, 2-3 mins, no colour v.v But it's the only anatomy work I've got on my computer- hopefully I can scan more of my traditional stuff in the future!! (I think it's probably much better!!) (p.s the stock is from senshistock on dA :> )

More early digital stuff! This is the first digital portrait I did proper (not just practice sketches). It's a self-portrait from when I was 15 - pretty unfinished, and the colour and lighting is p boring all in all. Working on it!!

this is a WIP from my re-attempt of the bird animation... don't know if I'll finish it, not happy with the line-work, too blurry. might re-do this with different brushes ... also movement isn't as naturalistic as I'd like... any critique is, of course, welcomed. Bless this incompetent peon with any tips you might have!!!

Fantastic studies, especially that last set of hands and the colour portrait. Excellent use of animated GIFs too, very cool! I think they look great.

Beautiful paintings for your age
Would like to see some more studies from you. If you start doing them and learning anatomy right, you'll be such a badass artist. Nontheless, you've already shown promising facial structure knowledge.
I'm curious, where do you want to go with all this? illustration? concept art? design?
Gonna keep an eye on you

thanks @ sleep.less !!! I feel really flattered and you're absolutely right about anatomy i'm really beginner there so over the past few weeks I've done lots of studies!! My scanner isn't working of course but i'll have them up soon. I plan on going into animation or illustration someday
Here are some quick one-layer digital studies I did of two of my internet buds!

Wow, it's been almost 2 years since I posted anything here... hm
Not sure if I need to make a new sketchbook thread or how anything works on this site anymore.
Anyway, I have way too much stuff to post, but here's a dump of stuff, and I'll cross my fingers as to whether or not anyone sees it.
!!!** This will be chronological, just highlighting my stuff from the past year + 8 months to show progress (eh.. hopefully?). Yeah. My stuff isn't just all over the place, in short (ok, it is, but I'm assuming y'all get what I mean)
(Images seem to be oddly compressed and small? really what do I expect at this point. w/e)
Sculpture for school (y)
nothing worth mentioning from february
doodle from drawr
studies (cringing in retrospect)
painting for good ol high school (mega cringing in retrospect)
(and a whole bunch of other stuff that I never bothered to convert into image files)
more skbk stuff...
Ok, cutting it off here. I'll make another post from july 2014 onwards!
Here's hoping this won't just shoot off into the interminable void!

Guh. Page re-directed right in the middle of making this post. Dang.
Anyway, july 2014 onwards!
redraw! (in retrospect, the new drawing is terrible. At least it's not as bad as the old one. cringe)
egg from imagination! need to work on this
studies of friends (I don't think they liked em though :'^( )
apples! I did a lot of these but this is the only image file of em I could find...
little thing from my sketchbook :>
September - December 2014
School started up again so I had less time to do stuff gah
A huge amount of stuff happened here. But most of it was for school, and I guess not really stuff I liked.....
I might need to make a separate post for sketchbook doodles and whatnot though.
Here are the highlights. I really need to document my work better TT A TT
still life for school (messy)
self-portrait, I don't have a better photo of this, oops
Ok, not much to post. I'm going to make a separate post for more stuff eventually.... but here's a 2 hour life-painting I did last weekend! My anatomy is less awkward than it used to be, but my colour sense is horribbblllleeeeeeeee ugh *q*
So, if anyone sees this and makes it this far, thanks for reading!
Please say mean things and critique harshly!! I have my mom to compliment my art, thanks

Agh, still no responses T^T
Hey, if anybody's out there reading this, can you say hello?? I'm worried that since I made this sketchbook before the site got all changed up that the link to this thread is defective or something.
Anyway, here are 2 stress-relief doodles I did today. Nothing special QAQ

Ahhhh bro this is awesome! Really cool artsy stuff! Right now you're 17 right? You're really good for a 17-y-old, at least by my standarts. It feels like lately the only people I'm seeing on the forums are my age. It's strange, but cool.
Anyways sorry, I got a little off topic.|
This forum can be very lonely at times and it's so depressing when you don't get a response after uploading something you're proud of.
Those still life études (in oils I assume) are really good! Good color picking on everything pretty much. I'm not sure I can critique anything right now except for resizing your images in Photoshop before uploading so that they dont appear too big, the ideal size, to me, is around 670 - 800 pixels for the height of the image. Ahh this reply is getting a bit too big. Btw could you explain what you mean about the lack of color cohesiveness in a bit more detail, because I'm not sure I understand what you mean and also how to approach it. Aand a second by the way - my name is Danny. Nice too meet you.
