some junk I had laying around

    Hey fellas

Decided to toss up a couple things I have been hammering on lately.

    Marine dude.
some junk I had laying around

This chic has been sitting on my harddrive for over a month. I couldnt ever get her to look the way I wanted. I opened her up yesteday and tweaked her some. Now I feel comfortable posting her.

This is actually a 11x14 drawing I did for a coworker. He wanted his girlfriend as a manga chic. I am not really into manga, so I did her in my style. He likes it anyway. I did get the pose from a manga pic that he gave me.

Very nice "junk"! I love the shaping you have going on in the machinery/armor and the rendering technique is very pleasing to the eye. Not that you needed to hear it from me, of course...

    hey thanks guys

I actually worked a little differently on all of these. I blew them up to 11x14 at 150dpi in photoshop and really tried to concentrate on subtle details. I also did a lot of shading with a 1 pixel brush at 50%, kinda like pencil shading. It was rather time consuming but a fun departure.
