Here is a paint over I did yesterday. I don't know the name of the artist on here but anyways, it was done to showcase that you usually doesn't ahve to keep rendering things to death to make it "more rendered" but to put focus on the materials and what they have as properties instead. This will keep you from "over rendering" and also help keeping (adding) that 'something' to your art.

Sorry for writing like a 5 year old. This was done on 50/75% zoom and for some reason I didn't think of zooming in to write...

    This is a paintover Monkeybread did for me, the first picture wasn't finished but that's where I was going with it. My final is last. I didn't paint over the paintover, but I made changes he suggested as I worked and I'm grateful for it. I do think I lost the eerie feeling somewhere that the first one had, but it looks much better. Thanks monkeybread!

    Just start a thread in the critique section if you need a paintover or a crit.
