    Cintiq + Squaretrade Warranty?

Hey y'all. I'm looking into buying a Cintiq. I think I've finally decided on a Cintiq 22HD (although I'm not happy about the anti-glare, I prefer to have something I can move around on my desk).

My real concern is whether or not I should get a (extended-ish) warranty, and if anyone has had any experience with using an extended warranty with their Cintiq?

I'm going to be buying my Cintiq from Amazon, so my only option is to get the warranty from Squaretrade. Have any of you ever used Squaretrade's warranty service? Particularly in regards to screen scratches or dead pixels, since it seems as though those are the two things Wacom refuses to cover.

macmall has extended warranties for them, I don't know how they compare pricewise, be worth checking out.

www.findphil.com for a look at my older stuff
    www.facebook.com/vig.illustrationgraphics for recent stuff
http://velikan.tumblr.com/ for the latest up-to-the-minute stuff, and process nonsense
And finally, http://www.here-there-be-monsters.net/ is the place to be if you want to buy some of my work that has been kitted by the talented hand of Dave.

I can't seem to find any information about MacMall's warranties, other than the purchase link. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot, but I don't really feel comfortable buying one without knowing what it covers.

I know Amazon will cover return shipping if I have an issue with the Cintiq (for the first 30 days after purchase, I mean), and the Squaretrade warranty says it will cover shipping in the case I'd need to use it. I don't know if MacMall or their warranty service would.

Is getting a warranty a good idea? Did anyone here who got a Cintiq get an extended warranty?

ETA: I found more info. on Macmall's ext. warranty, and it sounds absolutely awful: http://www.macmall.com/n/Technical-S...CareWarranties

Only covers replacements and repairs up to $350.

Squaretrade says it will 100% cover all repairs and give you the price of the item if they can't repair or replace it. They seem to have good reviews on resellerratings: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/SquareTrade

I posted a link, I forgot that you guys have a spam detector here for newbies. Anyways, I looked into Macmall's page for their extended warranty. From what I can find, it only covers replacements and repairs up to $350, which... is a very no-go for this product, when Squaretrade claims it'll cover 100% of it.

Squaretrade has a listing on reselleratings that is nearly all 5 star, they actually sound kind of good.
