    Lightbulb Need some advice!

    Hi guys!
I would love a quick critique on this piece - it is still in early sketch stage, obviously, but if anybody have anything to add to this, I would appreciate it. Especially the perspective, as I feel there are some pieces that are somewhat wonky that I don't know how to fix.

    Thanks in advance!

    hi Eldinga!

at this size its actually easy to see the composition and values. i think what you need to focus on right now is getting the thumbnail right, i attached a paintover where i focused on using value to bring out the focus of the drawing. Use dark and light to bring attention to the characters and elements that are important for the painting.
for improving perspective, now im not the best at perspective, but having a architectural element repeated helps enforce the feeling of space and depth.

    Hope this is useful =)

I agree with Bette on the lighting you can already see the difference. With the perspective are you going for a slightly fisheyed effect? Cause to me the wall they are standing behind looks quite curved and the circlular pattern suggests its nearing a 45 angle to the camera.
