NSFW - Magicwax Worx
I am a graphic Designer working in advertising, looking to move into illustration.
Going to start this post of with a collection of some older & more current pieces which range from sketches to finished pieces.
I do most of my work digitally but still keep a few pencil sketchbooks going and I dabble in oils whenever I get the chance
I'm looking to impove and experiment as much as possible. Any helpfull tips very welcome.
Thanks in advance for looking.

These are from my bedside sketchbook. Each night I try and do a few before lights out. About 2-5 min each.
A mix of studies, concepts & style explorations

Really like the way you set your faces sketches up, definitely a method I use.

I keep a digital sketchbook at work which I add to daily. Usually anatomy stuff and quick creature sketches. These are some from this week. Deadline week for me so I do not get to play as much as I would like.

Some landscape sketches from this week. This is my color practice for oil painting. Breaking the piece into color groups and then color temperature and finally into relative values. I keep it very simple...5min no more and only 1-2 brushes.

Some sketches from a series of studies I did for an illustration I'm working on. Was looking for a strong action line and power in the figure.

I really like your purple mountain landscape! I'm trying to work on landscapes too and you visibly have less dificulties with atmospheric perspective then me! Great job!!

Some life drawing from this week. Quick 2min gestures and some longer 15-20min poses. Quite rusty with life studies but so much fun and so rewarding.
