Good color here man, although your perspective is correct, you didnt push it hard enough to make it more dramatic.

    Check this out.

hard to say how big it is; the size of a phone box, a tower block or a mountain? think about how we see how big things are; detail size and distribution, relative scale to known objects, atmospheric blueing etc. Why does Kilimanjaro look obviously larger than a mans hat?

To me it looks like it's suppose to be huge. Just in case, add people there to show us the scale.

Create a point of focus (lights, details, brush strokes) and guide our eye to it. Tell us a story rather than describe an object ("its a gateway on a mountain", or its an ancient hidden gateway, lost in the snow leading "who knows where?") and don't be afraid to lose details, it'll help sell the hugeness.
Look up atmospheric perspective << thats the point VK was making.

    Thanks guys!

Venger: Your version of it looks really cool, very dramatic. Really shows how far you can take the idea, so I'll just save it and use for future reference for when I remake this or something similar

Yeah, his sketch looks awesome. I think I am going to rework this later. I need to be more bold when I'm painting, and reworking this image using Vengers pic as a reference will probably be good practice for me.
