Here is one of my characters - Bludgeon, he is part of a massive world story that a good friend and myself have been crafting for the past 10 years or so.

Bludgeon is one...nasty...shit. One of seven bastard cannibalistic children.

Hey thanks for taking the time to comment on my sb! Glad you did- lead me to your own goldmine- freaking digging the style and use of line in your fineliner work man You've got a real knack for simplifying form into a few lines- gotto try some now myself! As for critique I really dig the colour confidence and creativity in your backgrounds but as the viewer I struggle to understand the depth of them since there is no separation between the forground, midground and background which is achieved through tones. The foreground would be the darkest value in the image, while the sky/furthest point would be the lightest which is caused by atmospheric pressure. I hope I didn't seem pretentious but helpful- please feel free to critique my critique if I wasn't clear I could post a youtibe video- just let me know looking forward to updates man! Your passion has got me amped

Hey Crisimikiwiki! Thank you for your reply , now I understand a little bit better what you meant, sorry to hear that about the model, it's a pity because the time spent can never be recovered (also the effort that you put on it), and I can understand, because of my own experiences, how daunting is to do something for a long time that is going to end up wasted.

About the industry, the hours of work don't worry that much to me right now, although probably it will do in a few years XD, what worries me more is that I have no art background and I that I have no connections at all. I'm glad that you had the chance mate, hope someday I'll be ready and will find it too , but until then there's a long road to fix most of my troubles with my workflow. Cheers mate and good luck again!

ChrisTwaitees - thanks for your comments, glad you like. I'm not sure which image you are referring to colour confidence and confusing depth, though I understand what you mean entirely. Thanks again

herionz -thanks again bro! Remember, if you wanna work in the industry YOU CAN DO IT! If you put in the hard work and practise it will pay off in the end. Just be prepared for those long hours I was talking about

Niam- thanks mate, i love your stuff. I dont know what swirly robot you're referring to, but i'll take the compliment anyway
Maybe something off my blog? I looked at it the other day and there's so much old stuff on there it's a little embarrassing!

Royzy - thanks for dropping by, you have some beautiful work. Thumb is on the mend (just gonna take a long time!).

Today i've been packaging and re-packaging some orders of original art and prints i've miraculously managed to sell! I've been a little quiet on the drawing front for the past couple of days, but i'm ready to get back into action ASAP. Watch this space.

Seth - Cheers mate! Glad you like.

I'm literally working on 5 or 6 projects at the moment, haven't had much time to update the past week or so. I'm interested in so many approaches to art that i'm a jack of all trades, and a master of none. But i think I prefer it that way round

    Thanks guys.

As well as my current jobs I have on i've been brainstorming some other ways to make a bit of money for my return to Spain in a few weeks. One of which is to make some little strange sculpted faces, as fridge magnets, and badges/pins. I'd sculpt them in sculpey, mould with silicone, and re-cast from sculpey, painting with oils. I have already bought over a kilo of S.Sculpey and some silicone. Here are some quick concept mock-ups I did of the sort of thing i'm intending to make.

Im entering some competition for an EP cover for a musician I used to be really into. They pic 30 winners for the shortlist, so I thought it was worth a go. Deadline is tomorrow...so I need this to progress past just a bare sketch, and soon!

Update: Got it finished just in time. Voting starts tomorrow, i would REALLY appreciate your support if you wouldn't mind from tomorrow heading over to:

(I think that's the right link).

    Thank you so much

Commissions, and their respective Art Parcels:

Just to clarify, the Buffy commission was what the client wanted. It was sketched from some existing Buffy art by another Artist who i could not identify. I'm not proud of it! But owning up here to say it's not 100% my work. I'm a sad, dirty copier!

Awesome animation tests and Bludgeon is looking mighty fine! Interesting character, he looks intimidating and the style makes him 10x creepier. I do hope to see more of your character concepts. Especially the seven bastard cannibalistic children.
