I just love the freedom in Your last pieces. It's fun like prancing naked and drunk in the middle of a meadow full of flowers and horny, busty babes

The second piece is really wonderful, truly

The third one reminds me of Opeth

The update on the one from before is great

The paint on paper looks nice but could use a bit more of contrast

This is a great sketchbook!! filled with great stuff

I have a question for the video from post #2735, i hope you dont mind
What type of layer option are you using (color, overlay,.. or?) or perhaps you are using more then one layer for the character?

anyways keep up the good work dude

Jesus Food ahah thats cool !

    midknight523 tyty !

Ashrumm thanks ! and thanks for stopin in agean !

Fumble >>>well for the most part its one layer , sometimes i use overlay , multiply , or color dodge layers , sometimes hue and saturation layer .

usually though its 1 layer <some times temporarily 2 layers that get dropped to 1 right away > i change the brush blending type more then do it on a separate layer .

in the vid i think at first , i take the sketch , do hue and saturation change the line to a reddish/sepia because i know the guys going to be bluish green
then i think in that case i have a new layer for a second , to brush in the color <overlay> , though it might have been under the line work .

then i paint right on top of the sketch , I didn’t want the line work to stand out , but didn’t feel like ditching it entirely . so i paint right on it , with various brushes set to 90/90 op and flow . all set to wet edges <90 % of the time whatever brush I’m using i keep wet edges on >

at some point , i lost pressure sensitivity for some reason so restart it . then mask out the figure <the little circle thing to the bottom left tools pallet > that’s the red bit . mess with the back ground a little , get something passable , skip around < i add the specualrs early just so i can keep in mind where the light is hitting , not really as their final position . >

near the end i add a layer select out the figure and do a cheep trick drop shadow from the silo, transform it a little so it fits proper .

some times for characters <usually when working for some one else because they always need changes > ill use more then one layer , but when painting its usually direct , and color is usually direct as well .

hope that helps next time ill try and narrate it , this round i was having enough problems with the timing of the vid <every time I uploaded it it ran at a different speed then the film was made and played on my computer >

heres a couple and ia hve a stack of sketches here and soem acrylic and oils around too so ill upload them as well
