    Thumbs up Rookie in progress

I thought I might get more feedback here

If you've never seen my old crapy work , the links are in my signature. But that unexperieced Luis is dead! Now I'm taking Art seriously. You guys were right: when you've learned the basics of anatomy, everything seems easier. I'm not an expert (yet) but I really think I've improved a lot.

Smooth criminal's my favorite. I might do something with that sketch. He looks a bit off-balance though.

I think I'm getting the hang of this...

Damn you're better at that than me.. .. but I'll try and make some conjecture. Mostly because no on else has. Proportion is looking good, at least, you've fooled me. I'm sure there are better trained eyes for nit picking. Your poses are decent, most of them look believable. If I were you my next step would be making it all more dynamic. I see from your DA page that you WERE looking at specific muscle groups. I'd say learn em and keep this up. Maybe get a book with a little bit more dynamic figure stuff. Bridgmans or something, if you need book recommendations there are tons of people here, qualified to give them. I'm not one of them . Oh and play with your camera. You're not affraid to try poses, so maybe challenge yourself with some camera play. Well I really hate doing this, cuz I'm sure my advice isn't the best for you. But I figured since no one had commented.. I'd at least give you my take. Good luck, and I hope someone more experienced can help out.
