Character of the Week #312
Lolth - Demon Queen of Spiders
From Dungeons and Dragons
Deadline - Sunday, January 13 10PM GMT
In the sixty-sixth layer of the Abyss, in a terrible realm known as the Demonweb, you will find Lolth, Demon Queen of Spiders.
She is described as a lithe dark elf woman dressed in a gossamer gown woven from the silk of spiders. She has long,
silvery hair that cascades down her back and frames a face of exquisite beauty.
In reality this appearance is a deception. Lolth is also described as a massive spider, a black widow with dripping fangs and eight chitinous legs
that support her humanoid upper body, which is bloated on devoured souls.
Your task this week is to design Lolth, Demon Queen of Spiders in any of her forms described above, or a hybrid of the two.
- Gender is female
- Please keep the style within the Dungeons and Dragons universe
- Keep in mind that in her spider form she still has humanoid features, this is still a character design!
- Finals must be posted in the finals thread before the deadline
- Final post must include the CHoW number and the artists username at the bottom of the image
- At least 3/4 of the character must be visible
- Sketches or rushed artwork will not be accepted into the poll
- At least two wips posted with your final in the finals thread
- Background is optional
- Have fun!
CAllin it DUN
Here is my final.
She plays violin in those creepy dungeons.
And when the lost follows the music, she lures them with her beauty.
And the rest story you know, her kiss paralyses the victim and lover boy becomes her meal.

Well, I am going to have to call it on this one! I had a lot of fun and learned a ton! Great work from EVERYONE!!!! I was going for "emerging" from the darkness to feast on her prey.

Aonegamer You are missing your final entry, all I see is your animated wips.
You need to include your final with your name and chow# at the bottom.
Here is my entry for this CHOW activity:
Thank you for looking.
Final. Could use some more tweaking, but this is all I could get done.
This is the mine
My first entry for Chow, had loads of fun with it. In the end a lot of things I think that could've been much better but I am quite satisfied nonetheless.
My Final version of the Spider Queen in two of her appearances.
Here is my entry for my first Chow!
I literally never do digital art anymore, but occasionally check back here with the intention of making something, so here's my version of the Spider Queen - had a lot of fun dusting off the old tablet and having a go at the topic- a lot of great work so far!!
Awesome entries guys
Hi everyone my first finished CHOW!
My sketchbook - Please, help me grow Critique very appreciated
Realized that my illustration wouldn't show all of her, so I did a concept design showing her full body under more natural light also.
She hides her body showing only her fake dress to captivate foolish men, who do not know her real intent.
