VezarezThank you =], yeah I get carried away with the textures, I just got into them and I don't know the meaning of 'too much' lol. Papu I'v talked to them about it and apparently others are having the same problems, but hopefully it will be fixed permanently, soon. Sleep.less All of that was so incredibly helpful! Thank you so much!
Hey V3T i've seen your stuff on the facebook group posted, and seeing it here uncensored feels like a curiosity
is fulfilled haha. Didn't know it was you on the site, i'm Cristina Zabava there. Cheers, good stuff.
Sketchbook - I really appreciate comments and critique, please visit!
You always have such bold brush strokes. Very minimal work to tell as much information as possible, almost as if you're carving at a block of wood. It's great and something that I'd like to strive for as well in my paintings.
Hey, I saw your stuff on the FB group when the site was down! I liked it then and I like it now, you're using some really awesome colours and I like the geometric way you're constructing faces and figures. My advice would be to focus on facial proportions for a bit, because your faces are looking nicely 3D, but the features are drifting around a bit.
Nice colors on that environment study. Also great that you're doing gestures, because they will surely prove themselves useful. Should be doing them myself too As always, I'll end by saying "Keep it up"
Lost a bunch of days work from the Forums update and I have no backup of the files but anyone that was here will know what I done.
I just got my mitts on a great painting book called Alla Prima, everything I know about painting nd I cannot recommend it enough, it's not so much as a 'how to do x' more of a 'how do you solve the problem your subject is showing' and really makes you think about it.
Dudee how did you get that book, I've been meaning to get my hands on it for a while now, its like £260 on amazon and its sold out on his site, its nowhere! . Always great to see you working so hard, such an improvement as always.
that's rough that you lost some stuff - I'm a hoarder, and archive every scan in a dated folder - going back to 2010 >.>
Meanwhile, your stuff is really coming along great. I really like that easel, for some reason - and if I remember correctly you finished those portraits?
I'll have to take a look that that book you recommended. gotta learn how to paint! - so much to do!
JackGriffin I got it from amazon for that price actually. Thank you so much =] Papu Thank you very much! If you can get it, do it, the info in it is golden ^^ Rhubix It does not bother me too much since it was all bad Thank you very much! And I did! You have very little to worry about when it comes to painting
Design I did today, I used Feng Zhu's brushes to do this. I still cannot believe how it came out. I might return to it later.
