Hello, thank you for taking a look at my sketchbook :D
I'm a little elf from the Faroe Islands with big dreams to one day become a concept artist (or something along those lines).
I still go to high school, so I have to balance between doing homework and drawing, so if you have some tips on how I can get as much as possible out of my drawing stuff then please tell me!
.. I should probably write something else, but for now this will be it! Once again, I humbly say thank you :)

This is good stuff! The combination of brushwork and lines in that last digital image is especially nice. Subtle, and adds detail only when it's needed. Your heads are also very structurally solid; they don't look two-dimensional or have any "floaty" features. Keep posting; I'll check back!
Wow! You are good my friend! I hope to see more in the near future
This is most enjoyable to look at. I"ll keep popping back in from time to time. Perhaps more environments and objects would be good for you. The boats on the other page weren't some of the strongest things I've seen and when compared to your hands (which are quite good and obviously well studied) some of your objects just don't measure up. Perhaps if you apply the same line of thinking you're using for the physical form it would help make things even more awesome.
nice motion studies.
keep on sketchin.
Thank you very much! ^^ yeah, working with colours tends to intimidate me at times, so I should definitely look into that! Anyway, thank you for the feedback
They all look very good! The deer looks a bit high though other than that it's very nice! I especially like the environmental sketches
Dude these are AWESOME!! Honestly I'm shocked at your improvement over such a short period of time especially your understanding of female anatomy (mind- fcuck)! um if you're looking for things to practise, Michael Hampton's anatomy book is BOSS, callled Firgure drawing: design and invention", really awesome stuff right there um also maybe try loosening up and doing some thirty second gesture drawings, it will force you to experiment and you learn a ton. can't wait to see more stuff
Thank you very much! I'll make sure to look it up and study my ass off hehe
Wow, it's been a while since I was on here... my apologies for that!
Expect some new stuff soon, I'll be updating regularly again soon I have to focus more on my school work at the moment since my exams are coming up

Alrighty I'm back with some new stuff. I signed up for Noah Bradely's Art Camp, so most of the things I'll be posting will be related to that. Anyway, here is some of the stuff I've been working on this week.
This week is all about portraits, mostly self portraits. The first two drawings are quick block-ins where I focused mostly on colour. Second one is a black and white self-portrait and the last two are colour studies from the masters.
At the moment we are only allowed to copy the masters and to draw from life and imagination. No photo ref yet
I'm still struggling with colours quite a lot, so if you guys have any recommendations for books or tutorials or anything then please tell me
So this is what I've been working on today... Probably spent way too much time on it, but I learned a ton! the original one isn't that dark but oh well
A few block ins, some master colour studies and a sketch from imagination . I'm really learning a lot from the master studies so I'll definitely keep on doing those
master colour studies and a plein air painting(though I was sitting in my living room looking out the window hehe). I'm pretty sucky with environments and landscapes, especially when it comes to doing them from imagination, so if you have any tips on things I should work on then please tell me!
two colour studies and another painting from life.
I'm really sucky with environment paintings, so some critique and tips would be lovely!
I'll try and do one from imagination tonight
some of the stuff I've done since this week
Metal studies I've done since wednesday, more to come of these
and some imagination stuff from this week.. and a still life hehe
Greetings from Noah's Art Camp! I knew I recognized some of these!
Tell me what you think about my sketchbook!
I have no advice for doing environment reference studies other than the realization in my own work that I think I am under-estimating the darkness of the values in general resulting in a washed out look that makes it all very flat. Maybe by pushing those dark tones in your work can give you a better result too? Otherwise your portraits are looking great.
I am trying to practice with GeoGuessr There are a lot of forested pics that are especially hard.
I probably didn't do enough imagination stuff today, but I'll see to it that I do more tomorrow after I wrap up a few more studies
As always, critique and feedback is welcome!
A painting I'm working on. Would love some help with where I should be putting the shadows and highlights and also with colour.
I need to draw more faces so I understand the planes better
anyway, I'll upload more stuff later tonight!
I think I've been a bit lazy today, I had a hard time focusing while doing my studies and didn't spend as much time as I could have on each of them. But perhaps that's somewhat of a good thing: just getting the basic stuff you want to learn from your study instead of going all in and making it look super alike without really learning that much from it
I've done some imaginative stuff as well, not as strong as my studies, But, hey, I had fun
I have some other sketches lying around, I'll see if I can upload them tomorrow
(prepare for a lot of figure studies this week)
Lovely sketchbook! Nice to see you doing studies from life. Keep going and pursue your dreams No one else will do it for you.
