    wacom screen getting scratched?

    i recently bought a wacom intuos 4 and the screen is getting permanent scratches from normal use

    is this supposed to happen?

    Yes it is. You are going to wear areas of the tablet from use, its normal. I've had tablets going back to the first wacom tablet and they all show signs of wear eventually.

    As long as scratches are very light ie you can't feel them with the tip of your stylus, they're fine.
    After much time and heavy usage the tiny scratches will, by piling up, eventually make the surface of your tablet very smooth, almost mirror-polished.

    This happened to me, now my Intuos5's surface is very hard to use with my fingers (Touch).
