Identifying this Concept Art From "The Big Bang Theory"

    Hi there guys!

I come from a site http://chasingprops.com, where tv show fans search for props and other cool things that have been seen on Tv shows.

I have been on the search for years, looking for a particular poster that hangs in Leonards bedroom in early seasons of "The Big Bang Theory" I havnt been able to find anything at all online about it, so I thought Id test my luck here!

    Name: the-big-bang-theory-tv-leonard-orange-art-poster-bed.jpg

It looks like an awesome piece of Concept art, but I have no idea what show/movie/ game/ etc it is for.

Does anybody recognize what the machine might be...a ship? or recognize the artist? or particular style....any clue will help!!

    Thanks so much!

    Cheers
    Katie

Hmmm...thread body is gone? Was it deleted by the OP or is this a bug? CA has been pretty flaky for me the last few days so just wondering.
    What would Caravaggio do?

I can see the thread body ok I did have problems when I first tried to make this thread though, and ended up making duplicates, but this one looks fine to me now.

Anybody have any clues about this Big Bang Theory Art?
    Thanks

Don't know who it is but I can tell you a lot of the studios dress the sets for TV shows for at least a season, so its a part of the show. You can always write to them and ask, just let them know what episode you saw it in because on long running shows things can change a little over the years. Check the credits for the set designer and direct your query to them.

    Update:

    According to IMDB
    Set director is Ann Shea

    Thanks Dpaint

Ill give it a go for sure. I have heard though that the production companies arnt allowed to give out specifics regarding the props used in the show...But that could have just been one show, and it might depend on who Im write to I guess!

If anybody has any clues about what you think this art might be conceptualizing, that will help in the search!

    Any luck?

Did you have any luck finding this painting? I've been looking for ages, to no avail.
