Son of Nyx's sketchbook (Updated Daily)

Hi everyone! My name is Jeppe. I'm from Denmark and i am currently in the IB high school programme, and since art was cut in my class, i do art on my own after school. I try to improve by learning from various online sources.

Feel free to comment/critique. I will try to keep this updated daily, so you guys can see me (hopefully) progress.

Let me start of with some anatomy sketches i did from Reference not long ago:

I think you are doing great. Just look for the construction lines for the human figure, also study the geometric shapes to build the figure it will help you give more roundness. And keep posting.

Thanks, and thank you for stopping by my SB I did those sketches from reference just to try out some anatomy, since i'm stupidly afraid of the subject. Do you have any sources that you would recommend for learning constructive anatomy?

Hey, nice start! I would recommend thinking a little bit more about proportions when you draw, your heads look pretty small compared to the bodies on most of your drawings. You should definitely check out the George Bridgeman books like "Constructive Anatomy". Also, all of the Loomis books are free and really good. You should start with "figure rawing for all it's worth". Just draw a lot, very thoughtfully and carefully and you will get better.
