You canít beat 2 big Fantasy art shows, about a year apart, in the same museum.

I'm so jealous of anyone able to attend this. If it came to Orlando, I'd be there in a heart beat! And congrats on making it in!

Thanks guys. Just A quick update, I have been talking with Patrick Wilshire who runs Illuxcon and I will be joining the programming and doing a demo on Saturday of the convention. I'l paint at least a 24 x 30 oil painting from blank canvas to finish, probably some kind of environment piece. When things firm up I'll post more info.

Ooh, missed this, congratulations to you too, Armand! And thanks for the shout out. I still have no idea what I'm doing there.

Definitely won't miss that demo, sounds like it'll be a beast.

Wait, what's the other big Fantasy Art show in that area?

This is going to be my first show I'm attending, can't wait to meet a lot of other artists.

Damn, can't believe I missed that. Glad to see Allentown is drawing some more attention though. So many illustration events I wanted to attend required a plane ticket and serious $.

I haven't been around lately, so I just saw this. Can't wait to see this! I'm from A-town, so I'll definitely be there. Can I make a request for an Antarctic environment? Maybe with some mountains... of madness?
"Contrary to the belief of the layman, the essential of art is not to imitate nature, but under the guise of imitation to stir up excitement with pure plastic elements: measurements, directions, ornaments, lights, values, colors, substances, divided and organized according to the injunctions of natural laws. While so occupied, the artist never ceases to be subservient to nature, but instead of imitating the incidents in a paltry way, he imitates the laws."-Andre Lhote
