    Tea and Practice

Think I had an account on here a couple of years back, but in the absence of finding it I made a new one.

The most important thing about me is I live in the UK and drink silly amounts of tea. After that, I am in my final year of study on a 3d modelling course, am in the process of designing a game, and generally need to greatly improve on my art skills before I graduate! I'd say 'my area of focus atm is...', but as I need to both greatly improve my anatomy, *and* improve my ability to render environment concepts I'm not entirely sure that counts as a focus.

Some other bits I've worked on recently. The masked one isn't finished yet but I'm still a little unsure on how to proceed with it. Hopefully I'll get some ideas over Christmas anyway.

Great start. I think you should work more the anatomy and the values. Keep posting.

Thanks =3 Definately agree about the anatomy. Over Christmas I'm going to try and force myself to work on the bits of anatomy I avoid.

So, faces! ... I need to draw more faces...

A very quick image I did to annoy a friend of mine, but I kinda liked it.

Trying to make sure I draw something non-university related every day, so this was today's effort.

With a bunch of deadlines out of the way, I've spent some time doing some quick sketches. Draw a man as I hate drawing them, the muscle groups are quite horrible as I was using posemanaics for reference. However when I get some time to scan I'll put up some muscle studies I've done. Great to find some time to draw again though =)

    Another quick doodle.

I'm going to aim to do some proper colour/light studies over the weekend.

This week I'm aiming to do some drawing/painting each day to warm up before modelling.

Really need to focus more on value over the next few days.
