    i think its great.

it does add a flavor i have long forgotten to be an ingredient of soccer: teamwork. all ive seen lately are overpayed individuals playing for themselves:

france has zidane, barthez, henry and a lot others which are great soccer players... but they didnt play as a team. england is about the same...
greece, then, has a lot of mediocre players but they played TOGETHER. and so they won. deal.

I'm happy for them. Although we should have won...haha no, we sucked against Portugal actually. I'm glad they didn't win. Overpayed individuals...like you said gekitsu.

What a fantastic result. The pundits were at a loss for words. It's great for the game, and richly deserved. They played their hearts out.

i think this was the perfect em for the spectators.
we saw a lot of interesting teams, a lot of interesting new faces (rooney, lahm...), some incredible moments (the head-stop-ball-thing of the swiss keeper, that INCREDIBLE beckham assist when he just stopped dead in his tracks and waited dumbfoundedly til the right moment for the pass, that strange goal of sweden's ibrahimovic...), then we saw a lot of the top rated teams lose against nobodies, then we have the absolute WTF final pairing... and huge greece parties everywhere

btw, i was at a greek friends restaurant when the greek kicked out the czech. wow... talk about everybody going completely nuts.
when the last action was decided, everybody was like ooooooOOOOOOH and the restaurant owner was like nowithappensnowithappensnowithappens, then the goal falls, there is like, half a second total silence until everybody got it that the ball is over the line and the game is practically over... and then, a complete restaurant FULL of people is cheering insanely, jumping around, hugging people you dont know, laughing, highfiving...
    awesome

I think it wasn't that great like many people say...there were a few great games like Netherlands-Czech Republic, Portugal-England, but overall the games were boring, ending with a boring final match also...

The only good thing is, that Greece won the championship and i hope this will force the "big" soccer-nations to think over their playing system...they played very carefully which wasn't a pleasure to watch (greece included)...
