Sonic the Hedgehog series... I love Sonic just as much as the next guy... But you have to realize it's fundamental flaws when you've been pushing 'right' on the D-pad for 12 years...

The whole damn GTA series.... since when has 'follow the pink dot' fun...

I have to agree with Final Fantasy Tactics... it was fun.. but 150 hours fun??

any racing game that isn't Mario Kart or Road Rash. Sooooo boring when you can't use weapons on your competitors.

ummm, Unreal Tournament....it's like trying to win at minesweeper by clicking randomly....I don't understand how people can stick with it long enough(online anyways) to get good at it.....

I don't play enough games to be an authority though.

How can a game become so f*** boring after 10 minutes... and for the most part, all quake like. Nearly no solo play anymore, they need a good mod to become interesting in mp... Hey develloper, get up! I want good solo game! I miss Half Life...

And yeah Fallout was buggy But arcanum was too :p And morrowind too... But hey, it's good to have those game too.

Btw, Knight of the Old Republic was cool too, but buggy like hell too - i've lose savegame, i've been block in my starship, i've seen too many time my wallpaper, video didn't play properly... but I have spend lot of time with it

I know I am gonna get flak for this but...

WindWaker bored the pants off of me.
I couldn't get into Morrowind at all, even though everyone told me I would especially would love it.
Final Fantasy X blew chunks instead of my mind.
Baldur's Gate 1 bored me with "Fetch mah boots!" quests even though BG2 is my favorite game.
Diablo 2... more than just over rated. Almost vomit inducing =o

    Cool

arcanum was so buggy that it didnt even work on my computer. I reached a point where it did nothing but crash my system. for me...even though i started to have fun with it..it was unplayable.
That a pity Jason, because its a quality RPG. I didn't have any problems with running it, but there was this annoying quest loophole where ony of my annoying dwarven NPCs would leave my party if I made him wait for me. I got tired of having to never tell him to wait for me, so I slaughtered him, and got a new NPC. :chainsaw:

Diablo 2 is the shit, but that because I have a strong packrat instinct.
Fallout 2 was only a little buggy, but the Gauss rifle, Bozar, and exploding chest graphics made it all worthwhile.
Max Payne is worth one playthrough, and maybe 2 with a mod, but it is pretty boring, and short too.

Personally, I thought that Tekken and Mortal Combat were, are, and probably always will be overrated. Those games suck.
Quake 3... No way it can keep up with Unreal Tournament, so I didn't see why people liked it.

Any Final Fantasy game. People get such freakin hardons for them and they are a bunch of repetitive turn based games with annoying invisible monsters, with the same rediculous anime art.

The only one I can think of that I played is !!!Wind Waker!!! It was definitely more about the style and look rather than fun game play(archaic). Perhaps some voice acting would have heightened the experience.

Still...You gotta love those coool smoke FX's!

Halo??? Are you guys serious. I don't own an Xbox but, ever time I played that game I had tons of fun.

Damn, there is a hell of a lot of hating in this thread.

Tekken. I hate Tekken. Its slightly less fun than venerial disease. I hope whoever made Tekken dies a gruesome death, gets molested, then pictures of thier defiled corpse sent to thier mother. Or maybe they could stub thier toe or something.

    Awe shit.

Final Fantasy 8: That game was total garbage. No story, boring fighting, weak character development. Anyone who likes it, it's because of the graphics, square made it, and it's an FF game.

Chrono Cross: Incredibly boring fighting system compared to Chrono Trigger. Weak character development. Meaninglessly complexed story. Again, people like it because square made it, and it's graphics.

pvrhye - I have to agree with you on that. I learned a few years back that Tekken is the cheapest piece of crap on Earth. The game has very little to do with actual fighting. It's all about cheap, unstoppable air juggles that you learn from cheapo websites. It used to be a cool game till they cheaped it up.

Jason Manley - I'd have to agree with you on FF Tactics. It's a pretty good game, but can be incredibly boring. Takes far to long to play.

Resident EVil 2: The only resident evil that was really bad ass was the first one. The new one coming out may be great from the looks of it though.

Awe man, I'd have to disagree with anyone who doesn't like Quake. That games hardcore! Takes some skillz.

And Halo: I'm suprised people are saying that was overrated. I never got too far in it myself cause I don't have an X-Box. But from what I played, it seemed like a great game. Maybe it does get repetitive like Crash said. If it does, man, what a let down.

Hey, Max Payne for the PC was cool. The shooting fights were good fun. It did have some boring moments with the comic story at a few points.

Hahhaha...Chris ..I'll never understand your hatred of RE 2. The only thing I really disliked was the fact that you did the saame shite with each character on each disk. It made no sense.

RE 1 for the gamecube was pretty damn cool!

BTW Tekken is ggreat when you don't play people that know juggles.
