    Reference Book

    Hey

I am a VERY VERY NEW artist. I just started sketching and drawing. My friend said I should start off with reference drawing. Anyone, have any suggestions for a reference book.

By that, I'm sure he means "anatomy book" and I think he should do a forum search before posting new threads... You aren't the first person to ask this... :mohawk:

well, it won't be the last time i gurantee you that.

Now, as for anatomy books, there are tons to look at and what not, so it's hard to narrow them down to a single book. However here is the book I go by and it's been succesful for me and my friends.

It's entitled, Anatomy for the Artist by Jeno Barcsay.

Here's a link from BN.com for further information, check it out if you're interested.
