I've been an off and on lurker for some time but I only recently felt confident enough to start sharing my work with you guys. I do a bit of freelance work on the side but I'd really like to make that leap to get into this full-time. I love this community and I would sincerely appreciate your critique and feedback and encouragement from time to time!

Above is an environment/story concept and a screenshot study from Gladiator I did last night. How can I make these screenshot studies more effective learning devices?

    Thanks!

Another film study, this time from Valhalla Rising. Noticeed how little space the background shapes actually take up and how there is still some warmth in the hills even though they are distant covered by atmosphere.

Jet designs. The silhouette method kind of confuses me. I think I took a bit too long adding the lines on top of the one I liked... looking at a combination of Su43, F22/23, and AC3 Electrosphere. Its a highly manueverable UAV with some degree of stealth.

Had alot of fun getting reference for this and I'm very pleased with the sketch. If I can tighten it up I'll try and bring it to a fully rendered image. Name: 12.jpg
