Basically I want to start working with photoshop, but I have close to no knowledge of how to use it. You can see my attempt in the first link, it would be awesome if any of you guys can show me what I can achieve effects-wise.

I think your most important thing to work on is your figure drawings, for right now.

Someone else could give you some advice on your animation, but I personally have a hard time doing that with your current drawing level. That's just me.

If I could say anything, I'd say the animation seems fair. But again, my eyes are distracted by the weak drawings. Just get to work on those and you're on your way.

Oh, and I'll tell you now, the only contribution a program like Photoshop should give in the scope of full animation is backgrounds, illustrations, and character model sheets, not much past that.

Now I do know the fighting game "Skullgirls" used Photoshop for it's sprites, but animating a FILM (even a short one) in Photoshop is amazingly impractical.

Yeah, work on drawing and stuff. I hope you will animate some epic duels in the future. I love such things, and you have the potential.

I think I may have deleted my first post, but I added some more. Thanks for the feedback, I definitely agree that my drawing needs to improve (especially the proportions which I tried to work on for the new parts)

I think I deleted my post, was trying to edit it. Anyhow I added some more, thought more about proportions. Thanks for all the feedback!
