    Tablet - take 1

Below my first serious attempt on tablet + PS
    study of an apple:

I have the biggest struggles with clean and smooth lines (borders of the apples's shape for example). Any suggestions on how to get it to work will be greatly appreciated.

    More drawings

    Hi again.

Coming back with more drawings. Some older stuff, then some more recent and at the end effects of studying Mr.Loomis books.
    Appreciate any comments on these.
    I go to draw.

    Cheers,
    Stan

Your studies, especially the ones you posted first, have a very lively feel to them.

    Thank you!
I really enjoy this process. I feel that I learn a lot when I draw this heads. Hopefully this weekend I will manage to get to part of adding properly looking features like eyes, nose, mouth. Than I will work my way down with neck.

Thanks for stopping by in my sketchbook.

    Cheers,
    Stan

    Older stuff

Some older sketches. What do you think?

(first attempt on taking photos of sketches instead of scanning them)

    Quick one before work

    Hi,

Another one - drawn at 6.30 a.m. I'm pretty happy with it. I see a lot of progress in the way I draw heads since I started studying books about it.

    Comments will be appreciated.

Sorry about the quality - photo done with my phone.

    Cheers,
    Stan

    Hi,

    More sketches.

I am happy with the last two: monk with a stick and a creepy boy. What do you think?

    Another one

Been a while since last post...

Today's piece - working on switching on digital drawing. I'm showing all stages it went through: sketch, linework, primary colors and secondary colors. C&C's most welcome!

    Cheers,
    Stan.
