Idk if it's just you rushing, but I like those loose painterly lines of yours. It gives a sense of movement in some of your pics.

Very nice stuff, man, and great improvements just in a page and a half. Keep this up and you won't be working fast food for too much longer, ha. I enjoy looking through someone's SB and seeing construction studies and line exercises. Of course, there's always work to be done in these areas, so keep studying those fundamentals like a mad man. I've started a perspective forum with some other guys, if you want to check it out. We'll post tuts/exercises/puzzles for people to work through to get better, so it might be something you'd be interested in. Anyway, keep up the good work, man.

hey! You have many cool designs which is super awesome. Just keep pounding out the fundamentals to better express your designs.. that would be my thought anyhow. and don't stop drawing from imagination. once again.. super great!

Some very nice ideas and designs. I really like the insects and the characters. You should try working with some texture brushes , it'll give them a more spontaneous and frisky look.

The knight sketch turned out good; solid constructions. Your values need some lovin', so take some time and get used to rendering simple forms - all matte material. Then start doing your cars and knights.

Scott Robertson's Rendering Matte Materials DVD's are definitely worth the money, if you're interested. Also, you can check my SB; I posted a few simple renderings a while ago that might give you some ideas too. And cool sketches! I have fun with these form-building sketches, not really paying attention to the why or how of a design but simply enjoying the drawing process. It means you're getting comfortable and having fun with it, which is super important.

really nice designs man! the shapes are really sweet. your linework is a bit "searchy" and scratchy but that might be your impatience to skip ahead into photoshop to paint your sketches. otherwise, all the designs and shapes look pretty good. other people on this site are usually more illustrative but i can tell you're definitely dipping your feet into the design realm and making your subjects entertaining to look at which is awesome.

Have you tried inking some of your black and white stuff? That sketchy, line-heavy look you've got going would translate really well to ink, I think. Good practice for line quality too.

    Great sketchbook, keep it coming!
