sometime i wounder why do i draw, but then i realize because i love it and need it.do i need to make good drawings no because no matter how much i improve i will never be happy with my work. so i am going to draw for the love of drawing. weather is from life, gesture drawings or perpsective i am going to just draw. im not going to tell a story in my drawings but i am going to have fun with them.

Keep going! I too am basically starting out and studying perspective as well! You may want to consider getting a book or working through some kind of program if you are not already, so that you have a more structured approach and don't have to worry about what to draw. Also, about your uploading, some of the images are hard to see, so I'd advise you try using a scanner if you can and are not already and/or pull the images into Gimp, a free photo manipulation program, or Photoshop if you have it, and play with the color settings until the drawing is clearer. I have to do that with some of my images as well. Good start!

this video make me wish i was just starting now rather than then.
i wasted three years of my life not studying the fundamentals. i know what to do but still dont have the true motivation as i had three years ago.
i know its going to take a very long time to improve and i am willing to go through those long years. just hope i wont be 50 when i get to the level i want to get to but if i do have to draw for that long to improve so be it. my main income wont be thought art since i don't want to work for people.

That's not a waste! Don't get yourself down thinking you didn't start improving earlier because with every single little drawing you do or even think about is an improvement. It doesn't matter how much you improved over those three years, what matters is that you stayed true to yourself and true to your art. You didn't stop doing it, and hopefully you wont ever stop. Being able to create something from thin air is a great gift already. You should continue to use that and keep drawing and improving and loving your work.

As mentioned earlier, Sycra and Sinix on youtube have many awesome videos and tutorials. Also SeageSpeaks and Bluefley are great inspiration. Both of them have videos of their art in creation with voice overlays of life advice and general art advice too. Sycra.net is actually a really great website to check out. He has many resources that have really helped me improve my art and I only started wanting to improve about six months ago. All my art before then I never really realised the potential it could have if I focused. So I too spent many years drawing and not thinking I was getting better. I didn't ever study the fundamentals, and really I only practice by drawing what I want. I can never sit down and draw shapes over and over again. Apart from figure drawing, I don't consciously practice I just know that I can learn from everything I do. So I simply draw what I want because I love it, not ever being critical and thinking that I don't have the basic skills or the fundamentals as a base for everything else on top.

So no matter why you're creating art, just remember that firstly you are creating it for yourself. However you go about it is the right way, there is no wrong way if you believe in yourself. Keep going with these studies however! I can see the process is working for you and you have improved since your first posts to this sketchbook and since the start of that video! Keep it up!

i watch all of them just don't get that inspiration anymore
its like its been sucked out, yeah i won't stop going. i will keep drawing and drawing but only for myself.
if i get to the level people would want to commission me i will do the commissions for free and have them sign a contact saying they can't use it for any projects but thats not going to happen for a long time. i will say is i will keep it up and draw more. but i don't expect to improve at all this year.

    Hey ghost
great sketchbook, and really nice to someone who gives it full throttle and doing a lot of drawings! and regarding it with life drawing, do not be dismissive. for when you get really good at drawing people and shapes, so you can take it and transfer to sci-fi art. so do not lose heart, but give it full throttle
