Heres 2 studys from today and oen from yday,, ive got more to upload from yday n the day before but the files are larger thanj 500kb n cba to resize em, ill wait till i can link em from image hosting sites..

Idk which order they are coming up as attachments but main study is of the white dude, and my application study was of the black dude. They are both just under 2hrs each.

The battle scene was my application study of another study, took just voer 2 hr i think. Hope you like em.

Alright! First post! Naj's studies and discipline have inspired me so much I'll be mimicking his time constraints and doing some of the same studies.

But for now, here's some anatomy work and a few wip's and studies!
The study of Conan was a little under an hour.
The anatomy work is Hogarth and Hampton.

Ah, man! You got the sword guy up before me! Damnit! It looks really good man. I find it extraordinary how well you are about to key in on those important aspects like the leather texture and metal and leave everything else a bit loose. Really nice. I'm about half through that 2 hour study myself.

That first application piece is awesome. The composition is really on point. Where would you say you learn the most about your composition. That first one is just so dynamic with the figure jolting an arm forward to a person in the foreground and the placement of the background figures.

Something I'm working on that Naj has been helping me with. I got lost in it and didn't realize the messed up values.

Oh, and here's a study of a walking dead zombie I did not too long ago.

Heres another update, slightly slacking on the schedule though trying to get back to grips.. 2 sargent studies, which was an incredible learning experience for me. Gonna have to do more master studies, didnt realise how invaluable they were. And sargent is a BEAST!

What made me want to do sargent studies is because this programme called antiques roadshow was on, one girl had a drawing of sargents worth 50k and damn was it beautiful, detailed but so expressive. Also lookin into how sargent worked was insightful, he applies a base grisaille coat as far as im aware and then paints on top with established values rather than alla prima.

Did some Application sketch too.. Also here is one client piece im near to finishing off, wouldve called it dojne but some mistakes pop out and ammendments need to be made..

Gonna be designing some kickass aliens soon so watch out! Also did loadsa anatomy work, on apge 97 of Hamptons figure work and its helping loads understanding form and construction.

Catch yall soon, n please comment n give me some tips!! yippeeekaayaay
