    Cool fireframe's digital imaginary world

Hello everyone! I'm a Finnish guy who's studied graphic design and now trying to learn digital painting. So here's some stuff; constructive critique greatly appreciated!

This one was actually for Daily Sketch Group (Snapshot of a heavily tattooed alien), but since my postcount is still low, it went in moderation because of linking it from imgur. It fits here, too.

Youve got good drawing skills but its not coming through as much in your digital painting, but that doesnt matter because in time it will show, you just have to practice loads. its like learning to drive eventually the stylus just becomes an exstension of your hand (which is what drawing's all about but its still tricky to feel as comfortable with a stylus).

the only thing Id like to reccomend is not to bother will fully rendered paintings for the moment, just concentrate on drawing but on a graphics tablet. when you begin to feel that drawing with a stylus is a natural thing you'l find your confidence and curiosity to explore with digital painting have a much better platform to jump of off.

I really like your pencil and ink page, very cool style. Also, a good practice for your painting is to do some studies of really simple shapes (in your everyday objects) and/or of some simply composed photos that don't have a lot of texture. Could be really small, like 400x400, but make sure you copy the ref as precisely as possible, no matter if it's b/w or color. I've been doing that every now and again and find it's pretty helpful in building up your speed/confidence, and just your overall approach. And of course, post more!
