    Portrait of Freddie MacKenzie

    Portrait of my mammy, painted the weekend before last. Oil on linen, 12" x 10". Currently in submission for the Royal Scottish Academy's annual open exhibition. Will know by Thursday/Friday if it got in. Critiques welcome

    Just thought I'd update this thread to say that this portrait was selected to hang in the Royal Society of Portrait Painters' annual open exhibition this year (it was rejected by the RSA), which I'm pretty ecstatic about, given that I've never publicly exhibited work before.
