    Perspective Still Life

    This is a picture that I drew for school I think it turned out well and would love to hear what you guys think overall or if you have any specific comments or crits, that would be great too. Thanks for your time.

    the composition was enhanced greatly with the diagonal of the staircase, nice

    the rendering looks a bit weak with all the smudging, and maybe up the contrast a bit

    the perspective looks great, as are the shadow placements

    Perspective and everything looks correct. It looks like it could be part of a set of storyboards. I don't like the way it is cropped though, can't see the floor, takes away from the whole composition. Thats why I said it feels like it could be part of a storyboard, like it is telling a story. focusing eye leve so high up. If it is, please post more. One comment on the shading of the coat hanging on the wall, it is too dark, making look like it is on the foreground like the stairs, tone it down so it fits better into the background. Otherwise, I think the mood is very good. :waves:
