I normally do a very quick sketch and then do a photoshop drawing of it, looks like I'm probably only going to get time for the quick sketch today. Hope you can see him reasonably well, I tend to be very scribbly when i do quick drawings Good work so far

Baaaah!:lol, the pre-sketch sketch, anyway your scribbly style shines through in your ps-work in a good way

rift: he seems pretty fond of his staff

BRANDISH: mekes me think of the story "the emperors new clothes"

My sketchbook flawed to the max page 5

    OOH! A *Goblin King!*

I'll have to try and make time to do this one today.

Hey, speaking of goblins, does anyone know if Peter Jackson is in fact going to do the Hobbit? I heard something about it a few months back...

    Cheers,
    ~Oreg.

Brandish: yay! very cool sketch.. love the look on his face.

Rift: hehe looks like a cocky fella, nice one

Baaaah!: might be scribbly, but in a good way, like his slouchy pose..

Mindflaw: hehe, i like your sketches, they are cute. continue the theme

Oregano: hope you find time to contribute to this one. i think peter jackson is planning to do the hobbit, but he has some other projects he's gonna do first.. i think king kong was one.. might be wrong tho..

..anyways.. looking forward to see more great stuff.

I doubt this could count as a sketch... took way too much time... even if it's still look pretty sketchy... in glorious primacolour!

    AS always, compliments to everyone...

    Regal Goblin King

    Here's my attempt:

Teyekanik - like the posture and eyes/expression, makes up for the hands. I like the right claw/hand, but the left one coming over looks a little weird. Considering the time you spent, great job!

Gorna - holy moly, nice characterization. Obvious talent. Reminds me of a mafia/greaser type elvis thing!

dv8 - like where you were going with this one... would love to see a larger version

    Herbesahne - that's disgusting. I love it!

Yeah. I had such fun doing this on Friday, I did two of thems! The style is inconsistent, but Inconsistent is my middle name!

Goran- your goblin kings both have a fro! I woulda never thunk.

teyekanik- I agree with Sheldon. Great look, but the left hand looks off.

everyone else- it's always a pleasure to come here and see what people come up with. Bravo y'all!

    Misunderstanding?

I'm new to the DSG and I'm wondering how it works. For the last couple of days I've been waiting for a new topic to be shown, but it still shows Goblin King from three days ago. Is this topic continuing for more than a day? Please tell me, for I am eager to participate in what seems to be a fun learning experience. Thanks!

    Angry

Wow, they must be some pretty hardcore hackers. Surely they'll go down in hacker history as the people who managed to wreck an non-political, non-religious, completely neutral, non-offensive, art website! Truely I am in awe of their skillz. They must be very proud of wasting everyones time.
