    Buntschattin's sketchbook

    Hello!
I'm Jeanne, 21 yrs old, from Germany. What brought me here was Algenpfleger's thread, now I'd like to share what I've been working on.
Until now I haven't practised much. Although I like to draw, I didn't complete more than maybe three pictures a year. And I barely did any sketches.
Therefore I am unexperienced and need to improve... err, nearly everything.
I like the idea of drawing professionally, maybe...
Actually I did start to practise drawing a few times and then quit after a week or so. This board is a huge motivation to start again and hopefully to draw regularly. I also want to teach myself how to paint digitally.

Okay, so - that's it for now. Thank you in advance!

These two are the most recent drawings I did (the quality is not too good as they are photos) - the first one is a portrait of a french actress, second one is a scene from a film called "Turtles Can Fly".
There are still many mistakes... and I have to say coloured pencils are not my friends...

This is some old stuff, mostly Bridgman...
I still have no sense for anatomy whatsoever, it looks rather flat. I guess I have to draw from life more.
    And a portrait.

Oh, nice to see that I'm not the only german newbie around here!
I must say - I can hardly believe that you've practised as little as you say, these are pretty good - you've got talent!

I like a lot Your friend's portraits and last one Asian guy too. I hope your motivation will stay at high level, I'll wait for new drawings from you.

Thank you for your replies. That's indeed very motivating.

@Olooriel - May I ask: where in Germany do you live? And thanks. I am always thinking that I need to improve - a lot. When I look around and see what others can do...

@ill_Buny - Thank you. I'm going to upload more.

This picture is actually up to date. I could fix a few things, but I'd rather like to draw a new one. The quality is really bad, it's again a photo.

    Good night!
