Evening, all. Here's the thread for my sketchbook. I would like to hear opinions and tips so I can improve my skills - both in drawing, and in concept.
My name is Aquiles Dias, I study Concept Art at Odd School. We are the first concept art class of Portugal, and hopefully, the first of many. I also took a general Design degree in IADE, in Portugal.
The things I most enjoy drawing are creatures, arquitecture, mechanisms and armor. I value functionality over looks. A cool drawing doesn't make it good in my opinion. The technique might be good, but if the idea isn't original AND funcional, then the concept drawing fails.
