Sketchbook of the Aquilinian Legion
Evening, all. Here's the thread for my sketchbook. I would like to hear opinions and tips so I can improve my skills - both in drawing, and in concept.
My name is Aquiles Dias, I study Concept Art at Odd School. We are the first concept art class of Portugal, and hopefully, the first of many. I also took a general Design degree in IADE, in Portugal.
The things I most enjoy drawing are creatures, arquitecture, mechanisms and armor. I value functionality over looks. A cool drawing doesn't make it good in my opinion. The technique might be good, but if the idea isn't original AND funcional, then the concept drawing fails.

Mind. is. blown.
Loved the last image, feels so loose. And yeah, don't forget to hit anatomy too.
"Great job guys! I love you. You're fired."
