Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
I've been following this website for years, and now I have decided to commit myself to practising regularly. I really would like to improve as an artist and so I am working on painting from reference mostly. I have been doing well for over a week and want to continue and be diligent.
Major areas I struggle with (and intend to improve!)
Anyway, here are some images to start my sketchbook off.
C&C will be most appreciated!

Okay so I want to enter the Dragon Age contest over at CGHub. I have a bad habit of trying to take things too quickly, so I want to make sure I prep myself well before I start on the 3D version. I'm going to do a bunch of thumbs and a final concept, maybe even a turnaround before I start modelling it.
Anyway, the first image is the body type i am going for. Exaggerated, but still sexy in a way.
Here are the first inklings of concepts I have started. I have been doing concept art for like 14 hours today.. so I could only manage these 3 before I retire to bed.
Here is an update
#1 a study of Arizona from photo
#2 some more concepts for the Dragon Age contest
Thanks for looking

A few timed photo drawings first off...
Here are some life drawings I did yesterday, looking for some feedback on how I can improve
Also, something random I was working on for a halloween contest... never finished
Thanks for looking
Heres a concept I am working on for the Dragon Age contest. Let me know what you guys think... suggestions.. etc
Been sick this past weekend and couldnt get myself to do any artwork...
Anyway, I did a quick movie still from Shawshank Redemption. Here's Andy and Red.
Hope to get some good C&C
Just an update. Was a bit sick and unmotivated on the weekend, had a hard time getting anything going. Got a burst of inspiration today which helped me finalize the idea for the Dragon Age contest. i did an orthographic below so I can flesh it out easier in Maya. Also, a quick study of a Chevelle, really painful for me because I never draw cars. Please let me know if my colors are way off, its something I do struggle with and am purposefully not using the color picker.
Long time no update.
Well I've been busy trying to put a portfolio together on my spare time, and other things that got in the way... managed to poop this one out today, still really rough with my wacom... I'll need to get a replacement pen.
Credit to Wanimal for the photo reference.
